Jack Chick vs. the Chinese Postmen

You know Chick tracts. Sure, you do. Even if you don't know what they're called, you've seen those little black-and-white comic books sitting around the bus station, the coffee shop, being handed out by nutjobs at Halloween. They have some allegedly Christian (but really just whacko) moral, and they represent Jack Chick's delusions and conviction that everyone who is not him is going to suffer eternal torment.

Yep, even other Christians aren't safe in Jack Chick's universe – you're all going to burn in hell, ESPECIALLY the Catholics! After all, even if you think you're Christian, Jack knows that you're really not.

However, he has reached a new height of insanity. This one is loopy and paranoid even by Jack chick standards:

My favorite scenes:

- When the kid asks the Easter Bunny if he is Jesus

- The kid being restrained in the hospital for some reason sends me into spasms of laughter

- The sequence at the school where it becomes clear that Chick is trying to say that believing in Santa Claus will cause someone to become a serial killer

- The token "communist leader" looks like a Chinese postman

This is one of my favorites. I like the halloween based ones like "Devil's Night" and "Little Princess". I think you will enjoy this: there are nine short films based on actual Jack Chick Tracts at www.316now.com. They are word for word. Wild! I think you will dig it.

Cool, thanks. I'll check these out later this week, when I have some time.

Any chance that "Dark Dunegons" is amongst the short films?
